En 2013, Dolefil a reçu la certification Rainforest Alliance (RFA) pour ses « pratiques durables et ses initiatives de conservation de la nature ». Elle a été félicitée pour les conditions de travail saines de ses employé·e·s. Il y a pourtant une ombre derrière le logo ensoleillé de Dole selon les rapports de divers syndicats agricoles philippins.
