Why we need your data

Viva Salud processes your personal data for the following legal bases and purposes:

• The necessity for the performance of a contract: to perform employment contracts, volunteer contracts or other contracts;
• Necessity in the context of a legal obligation: for sending a tax certificate; ;
• Legitimate interest: for processing donations and keeping donors and supporters informed of our actions and needs; for processing requests for information and/or registration; for informing professional contacts of our activities; to send online newsletters and/or paper magazines; to inform you of actions, campaigns and activities that may be of interest to you; and to evaluate our operations and contact you if this can help improve our operations.

Viva Salud does not collect information for purposes other than those described above, unless you have given your explicit consent.

Personal data we process

Viva Salud processes your personal data following your participation in our activities, your donation and/or because you have provided us with this data.

Here is an overview of the personal data we process:

• Date of birth
• Address
• Telephone number
• Email address
• Preferred language
• Other personal data (including your specific interests) that you provide to us, for example, by participating in our activities, making a donation, creating a profile on our website, by letter or by telephone.

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

We do not collect data from visitors to our website who are under 16 years of age, unless we have the consent of their parents or guardians. Of course, we cannot verify whether a visitor to our website is over 16 years of age. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children's online activities in order to prevent their children's data from being processed without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected data from a minor without consent, please contact us and we will delete this information.

How long we keep data

Viva Salud will retain your personal data for no longer than is strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your data was collected. Our retention period is a maximum of five years after the last recorded contact (such as sending a newsletter, a telephone call, etc.), unless there is a legal obligation to retain certain data for longer.

Share with others

Viva Salud will only share your data with others in the following circumstances:

• because we use a third party for technical reasons (e.g. web hosting, CRM software, etc.); ;
• if it is necessary for the performance of our agreements with you; ;

We never pass on personal data to other parties with whom we do not have a processing agreement.

We will not disclose the data you have provided to us to third parties, except to comply with a legal obligation, such as our declaration to the SPF Finance regarding tax certificates.

Mapping out a site visit

Viva Salud does not track your visit to our website. Viva Salud uses technological tools such as cookies on its websites vivasalud.be, acties.vivasalud.be and actions.vivasalud.be to analyse traffic on the website and to ensure that it functions properly during your visit, for example by remembering what you have entered in a form, your choice of language, etc.

We share information about the use of our site with social media partners and online analytics tools, but in this case, the data is anonymised.

View, adapt or destroy data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can send your request to this effect to info@vivasalud.be. This is to protect your privacy. Viva Salud will respond to your request as quickly as possible, within a maximum of four weeks.

Viva Salud takes the protection of your data very seriously and takes the necessary measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unintended disclosure, and unauthorised modification.
