Bombings and military attacks are destroying tens of thousands of lives in Gaza. But The lack of medical equipment, famine and the spread of disease are likely to cause a wave of deaths among Palestinians in Gaza. Although international law stipulates that hospitals are not military targets, the Israeli army systematically attacks healthcare facilities and illegally detains medical personnel. During this evening, we will discuss what the right to health means for Palestinians.
We will not only discuss the healthcare situation and working conditions of healthcare workers in Gaza since 7 October, but we will also take a closer look at the state of the healthcare system in Palestine before the war, and what this means for the West Bank and the many Palestinian refugees. What is the impact of occupation, repression and apartheid on the health system in Palestine? What can we do to support the Palestinian people's right to and access to health care? ?
Please confirm your attendance using the form below. Discussions will be held in English. You can indicate on the form if you require translation services.
There will be a bar and we will provide light refreshments. We will also provide cardboard and paint so you can write your own slogan for Palestine.

She is the European coordinator for the BDS National Committee. The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement is the Palestinian-led anti-racist and non-violent movement for freedom, justice and equality. Inspired by decades of popular resistance in Palestine, the South African anti-apartheid movement and the US Civil Rights movement, the BDS call urges action to pressure Israel to comply with international law.
