Bombings and military attacks are destroying tens of thousands of lives in Gaza. But lack of medical equipment, famine and the spread of diseases also risk many deaths among Palestinians in Gaza. Although international law dictates that hospitals are not military targets, the Israeli army structurally attacks health facilities and medical personnel are detained without cause. During this evening, we will discuss what the right to health means for Palestinians.

We will not only talk about the situation of healthcare and the working conditions of medical staff in Gaza at the moment, but also about the state of healthcare before 7 October in Gaza, the West Bank and for the many Palestinian refugees. What is the impact of occupation, repression and apartheid on the health system in Palestine? And what can we do to support the right to health for the Palestinian people?

Speakers will be announced soon on our Facebook event. The panel discussion will be in English. You can indicate on the form if you need translation.

There will be a bar and we will provide some small snacks. There will also be cardboard and paint to paint your own slogan for Palestine.
